Scholarships for high school sophomores present a wonderful opportunity for students in the tenth grade to begin accumulating funds for their college education. This is not a bad idea considering how the cost of tuition rises every year. Every dollar that a high school student can accumulate towards college will help trim the yearly increases, and high school sophomore scholarships are a great way to do it with the competition not being as stiff like the high school senior scholarshipsare. The awards on some may be low but the number of students going after them will also be low as well. Let’s look at them more closely.
